Update 2

Last weekend we went on a boat to lake Powell and when I say we I mean The Wilkersons and the Scotts. It was a houseboat with a ski boat pulled behind. Anna and My dad showed up with their hair shaved. Yup, my dad did it to. It was good to see her go tubing and love every second of it. It is really neat because my brother is going to do it as well, and I dont have much hair anyways. So I think that made her happy. She went back to the hospital on Tuesday and started her second round of chemo. She is responding well to it I am told, and she has requested my presence. Thats where we are.

PS: She might as well be having an everlasting christmas, because she has more gifts than King David probably ever got in the Bible times.

The background information

A few weeks ago we found a bump on Anna's shoulder. It was a pretty decent sized bump about 1 third of a baseball. It was not all that noticeable because is looked like something she was doing with her shoulder. (like a muscle or bone popping out because of something she was doing) We found it because one day she complained about her arm hurting and my mom found it. My mom happened to be going to the doctor that day so she had the doctor take a look and they did an MRI. The doctor told us that she thought it was bone cancer. This was within 3 days of us noticing the bump. So obviously we were completely shocked. She then got all different types of scanning and blood work that I dont know names for and they then confirmed that she had Ewing Sarcoma a rare bone cancer. This was about a week into our journey. By that time she was staying at the Phoenix Childrens Hospital and she ended up staying for about 7 days. During that time they greeted us with the first good news we had gotten yet. The cancer had not spread. It was only in her left arm. She started chemo therapy and the first couple days in the hopital after chemo were pretty good. Then she went home and get really sore in her mouth, so much that she wouldnt drink or eat for the first 2 days at home. Then things got a little better and she started eating. Then about 4 days after the hospital she started getting horrible stomach pains so bad she had to go to the ER. Then things got better and have been better for about 3 days. The only bad thing in the past three days is that she is losing her hair. It started yesterday, so we cut it for her because she wanted it short and spikey. And here we are. Up to date. Anna's additude is very good. She is so high spirited and she is excited about whigs. I have (for some reason) had a very peaceful feeling about it all. I know something big is going to come out of this, and she WILL have a testimony. The rest of the family is struggling though. We are all believers in the power of prayer, so we need as much as we can get. I love you all. I am here for questions. Help me get the word out about this blog. www.wilkhope.blogspot.com

Hey everyone. This is about Anna

I made a new blog. Its called Wilkerson's Hope. Its about Anna Wilkerson, my sister. As most of you know she has Ewing Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer. Our family needs as many people as we can get for a prayer chain, so I decided to make a prayer/informational blog. As you can tell this is more important than my last blog. We are in need of some support. I will put anna's updated condition on this blog 1-2 times a week. Feel free to ask questions. Everyone has a lot of them. This is an open discussion blog. www.wilkhope.blogspot.com. Please keep us in your prayers.
